My husband received this as a gift last year. I was reluctant to watch it with him. However, once it was going I couldn't help but be drawn in to the story. Band of Brothers is not only excellent in terms of scripting, cinemetography and casting, but tells a story that will capture almost anyone who has a slight interest in history.
This year we gave it to my father-in-law for Christmas. A few days later, my mother-in-law commented on how they both loved it and couldn't stop watching. They watched the entire series in one day!

| There is really no need for a long review for this TV series. All that you need to know, is buy it. It is the best TV series ever released, and it is the most visceral, emotional, gritty, and realistic representation of the battlefield I have ever seen. |
